Last week was cray - we announced that Paradise Park was closing and people went up in arms over it. We swear, friends, we are not trying to ruin your downtown vibe. We love that you care so much! We do ask that you trust us. We promise, we are going to give you something you’ll enjoy. Another place to make memories, to take your friends--we bet even your mom and dad will like it. Something for everyone!
In the meantime, while everyone was numb from Paradise Park shock, we signed a deal for a building on 12th Avenue. It’s not going to be a restaurant, so we really didn’t think there was anything to announce. But, you know, that kind of stuff goes public and Nashville is still small in some ways, so sure enough we got some questions. So we figured we’d go ahead and tell you about it.
The Art and Soul building, located right next to Franklin Juice Co, is going to become the new company headquarters. We’re losing our office space in 411 (and moving to WeWork on 4th Avenue temporarily, which we have to say, we are super excited about! Hello Muletown Coffee, all day, e’ery day!) but hope to move into our new space in the fall. We’ll miss downtown but we are so excited to be a part of 12South! Then it's Frothy Monkey in the morning, BurgerUp at noon, and Jeni’s at 3:00pm! (Whew, and then a run through Sevier Park every evening.)
Seriously, change is hard sometimes. We all like things to stay the way they are, the way that feels comfortable. But with change comes new experiences, new perspectives, and we’re excited to view The Gulch from a different angle.
