Celebrate Your Independence at Pinewood!

Celebrate Your Independence at Pinewood!

On July 2nd in 1776, Congress voted in favor of our 13 little colonies’ independence. Just two days later, the delegates from each of those territories signed, sealed, and delivered the Declaration of Independence, solidifying our autonomy from Great Britain. Since then, July 4th has always been celebrated the “birthdate” of America. (Even though it didn’t become a federally recognized United States holiday until 1941!)

And what better way to celebrate our nearly two-and-a-half centuries worth of freedom than with an all-American grill out?

This year Pinewood is celebrating the holiday by throwing a patio party. Although we won’t have the traditional belly flop contests and three-legged-races that you might find at the country clubs across town (trust us - you do not want to do a belly flop in our 4ft dipping pools), Pinewood’s party will certainly have a healthy dose of holiday classics: hot dogs, hamburgers, and frozen boozy beverages. Can you say, Hip hip, hooray!?

Best of all, you’ll get fantastic views of the Downtown Nashville Firework Show — which, for the record, is one of the largest firework displays in the whole country! Not to mention the added benefit of avoiding the downtown pandemonium. You ever been in the thick of downtown Nashville on July 4th? Trust us: you don’t want to be. Over where Pinewood sits on Rutledge Hill, you’re afforded a clear view and close enough proximity to feel the boom in your chest, all the while avoiding without the stress and anxiety of a massive crowd. That’s called winning.

Tickets to our July 4th Patio Party are $100 a piece and the event is limited to ages 21 and up...because #alcohol. Guests are welcome to bring their suits and towels if lounging in the pool is up your alley, but don’t fret if it’s not: the bocce court and ping pong table will be more than ready for a little bit of action if it pleases you. Further, we’ll be firing up the grill to give you all the holiday-appropriate foods your little American heart desires. Think hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and taters, but ya know - kicked up a notch. Dinner is included with your ticket, along with two celebratory drinks. Yes, we mean #alcohol. The outdoor bar will also be offering its full beverage menu if you want to grab a little something extra.

Join us at 6:00pm on the patio at Pinewood for an evening of classic Fourth of July festivities! Tickets are on sale now, so go ahead and purchase yours by clicking the link below!
