It's Back! The Chef Pop Up Series at The Band Box Makes It's Return for the 2019 Season
…and the list of chefs is PRETTY impressive.
What’s better than ballpark food? Honestly, it’s my favorite part of a ballgame. An avid hockey fan myself, baseball has never quite been my speed. For me, it’s always been the snacks that really drove home my love for America’s pastime. So I was understandably stoked when we (we being Strategic Hospitality, of course) opened The Band Box in 2015. What’s made it even better? I was given the very cool opportunity to put together a stellar line-up of guest chefs as an added bonus to the already delicious Band Box offerings (you see those stadium nachos in the sidebar over there, right?! ->>>).
And we have Chef Andy Little of Josephine to thank for the whole program! Few people know this, but it was Andy who first asked to make a guest appearance at The Band Box all those years ago. And it’s no shocker that it was a huge success. He whipped up some bangin’ beef cheek tater tots and they sold out by the third inning. We knew we had something great on our hands. Since then, guest chef pop ups at The Band Box have become an annual affair, with some of Nashville’s most talented chefs making an appearance just about every Thursday and Sunday of the season to create fun, quirky, and creative dishes they might not be able to execute from the confines of their daily menus.
This year’s schedule is out and is looking preeeeeeeetty solid to me. So join me in coming out to support these great chefs (and the Nashville Sounds) this season. ⚾️
